Spelling: Unit 25 WB p. 164-165 When you are finished, use the list of words on p. 162 to put all 18 words in ABC Order. Please type the ABC order in a google doc, and share it with me before the end of the day.
Subtracting fractions with like denominators:
- Just like in addition, when we subtract fractions with the same denominator, we subtract the numerators and the denominator stays the same.
- Some answers need to be put in simplest form again today. Remember from yesterday that simplest form is making the fraction as small as possible. We use division to get smaller.
- "Whatever you do on the top...you have to do on the bottom!"
- *On WB p. 152, only #4, 5, 11, and 12 have to be put in simplest form. The rest of your answers will stay how they are. They will already be in simplest form.
- Here is a video from Khan Academy to help you! It shows how to subtract and simplify!
