Please submit your attendance for the day.
Thank you!

Before you start your work, head to our google classroom for a video message from me! Your math assignment for today is also in google classroom.

Google Classroom - 3rd Grade

Phonics: WB p. 155-156. These two pages are more review of what you have been working on this week. On p. 156 please write at least 5 sentences.

Spelling: Unit 25 games. Use the links below to play games with your spelling words. Make sure to choose Unit 25! The games may require Flash Player. I hope this works on the chrome books!
*There will be no spelling test for this unit. I have enough grades for spelling for the marking period.

*Unit 25 ABC Order and 10 sentences need to be shared if you have not already done so.

Math: Reviewing multiplication facts with "Basketball Madness Mystery Reveal"

It's been awhile since we've done one of these. Have fun!
  • Find your assignment "Basketball Madness Mystery Reveal"
    • There are 5 challenges to complete in order to finish the message. Once a challenge is complete, go to the next one at the bottom of the screen.
  • Remember your answers need to go in "Column B." If you accidentally put them in "Column A," your problem will disappear and the reveal will not work.
    • If you erase a problem, click "out" of the box, and click "undo" until it reappears.
*I can track your progress in google classroom. I will check for completion on Monday!
*March math packets will be collected when we return. Students who have not finished should continue working on it at home.

Reading: We will continue with Mr. Popper's Penguins on Monday.

Grammar/Writing: Use a google doc to tell me all about your 2nd week at home! Try for at least 8-10 sentences, and make sure to type them in a paragraph. Share it to my email when you are done, so I can read them this weekend!

Science: Scholastic News - "Escape from Pompeii" Read and complete today. Once you have completed the magazine you may go onto scholastic.com to explore the magazine even more.

    Our classroom password is: sts3rdgrade

Social Studies: "The Southwest" - Please login to Epic! to complete the assigned book about the southwest region of the United States.

*If you did not complete the reading from Wednesday, please read "The West."
    • I know these books are a little longer, so finish it over the weekend if you need to! Our next chapter in our social studies textbook is all about the regions, so this is exactly what we would be learning in the classroom
*If you did not complete 20 minutes of IXL SS please complete today.
      • Go to Learning, and then click the "Social Studies" tab on the top.
      • Topics about "The West" have been added.

Religion: Please say an Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be to end your second week of at home instruction. Ask God to watch over and protect all who are suffering from the coronavirus. Pray for the safety and good health of everyone and that the spread of the virus slows down.
