Reading: Read Chapter 6 of Mr. Popper's Penguins. Complete "Understanding the Story" Chapters 4-6 (front and back) in the Novel Study Packet

Grammar/Writing: "My Writing Journal" - "Create a story about being stranded on an island." Please find and answer this journal in 5-7 sentences. This should be completed in paragraph form. Do not list your sentences. Color the border when you are finished.

Before school closed, we were working on "Descriptions." Do your best to "paint a picture" of this island with your writing. Use as many sensory words as you can. *Remember to think of your five senses!
